I spent time in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, working with a local hostel while exploring the island’s volcanic landscapes on foot. Between hostel shifts and long hikes through the surrounding hills and coastal paths, my days were shaped by physical work, changing weather, and the raw contrast between ocean and mountain that defines the north of the island.
